Kubica sponsor want DNF explanation from Williams

Robert Kubica's sponsors, Orlen, want an official explanation from Williams as to why they retired him at the Russian Grand Prix. With George Russell already out of the race due to a brakes issue, team-mate Kubica was retired shortly after by the team to 'conserve parts ahead of the intense flyaway races which end the season,' according to senior race engineer, Dave Robson. Kubica cut a very frustrated figure back in the Sochi paddock, labelling the whole weekend as 'the worst of his career' which brought an end to his personal goal of finishing every race this season.
