VIDEO: Steiner and Magnussen rant at 'idiotic' steward
Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has labelled the steward who gave Kevin Magnussen a penalty during the Russian Grand Prix as “stupid” and “idiotic”. Whilst battling with Sergio Perez’s Racing Point, Magnussen was forced off the track and, in his attempts to get back in line, failed to go the correct way around the safety bollard, which broke regulations. Article continues under video The five-second penalty he was given for the incident contributed to him finishing ninth instead of eighth, but Steiner remains content with the points finish even if, in his opinion, the penalty was wrongfully given.
