Leclerc leads Verstappen in first free practice in Sochi

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc led the field in Friday morning's first practice session in Sochi, the Monegasque outpacing Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Scuderia teammate Sebastian Vettel. While Ferrari had the upper hand over its rivals, Mercedes drivers Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton - who clocked in P4 and P5 - shied away from the soft tyre used by the front-runners in the session.
