Honda takes Sochi penalties, Daniil Kvyat to start at back

All Red Bull and Toro Rosso drivers will take grid penalties at this weekend’s Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix. Honda has elected to take the hit of a penalty at the Sochi Autodrom in order to maximise its chances for its upcoming home event at Suzuka. All four drivers – Max Verstappen, Alexander Albon, Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat – will take a new Spec 4 Internal Combustion Engine. Due to his different replacement history all of the elements except for the battery will be changed inside Kvyat’s Toro Rosso.
