Daniel Ricciardo, Renault referred to stewards over MGU-K breach

Daniel Ricciardo and Renault have been referred to the stewards for an alleged breach of the Technical Regulations during Formula 1 qualifying in Singapore. Ricciardo qualified in eighth place as both Renault drivers made it through to Q3 around the streets of Marina Bay. But a couple of hours after the conclusion of qualifying FIA Technical Delegate Jo Bauer issued a report that Ricciardo’s car had allegedly breached the regulations. Ricciardo’s car exceeded the 120kW MGU-K power limit during Q1. Renault is to meet the stewards at 01:10 local time to discuss the matter.
