Sergio Perez gets 5-place grid penalty for gearbox change!

Sergio Perez has been given a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix after a gearbox change following a hit with the barriers during FP3. Perez ran wide in the third sector and slammed his rear left into the wall, causing damage to his wheel and he needs a gearbox change, triggering the five place penalty. The Mexican has finished P6 and P7 in the most recent two races and has a good record in Singapore, scoring points in every visit in F1, aside from last season, where he clashed with teammate Esteban Ocon and the Williams of Sergey Sirotkin.
