Hamilton leads Verstappen in second practice

Singapore Grand Prix – Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton has laid down a marker by going quickest in second practice, almost two tenths clear of Max Verstappen. With darkness descending on the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore for the more representative track conditions of the second practice session, it was Lewis Hamilton who ended the ninety minute session fastest. The Mercedes driver used the Soft tyres, unlike the earlier FP1 session, to do a 1:38.773. This was 0.184 clear of the best time set by Max Verstappen on the same tyre compound in his Red Bull.
