Pirelli complete first Formula 1 202118-inch tyres test

Pirelli has finished the first test of the 2021 season tyres, which are 18-inch. It was done by ex Williams driver Sergey Sirotkin who completed 213 laps at the French Grand Prix circuit. The development program for the tyres will go up to 25 test days next year and will be shared amongst the ten teams. McLaren and Mercedes have both already said when they will run their cars in October and November respectively. "We completed our planned programme as expected, covering 213 laps with the 18-inch tyres over two days," said Pirelli F1 boss Mario Isola as quoted by Autosport.
