Correa in ICU, ‘stable but critical'

Juan Manuel Correa, who was involved in the fatal crash that killed Anthoine Hubert at Spa, is in Intensive Care in a 'critical but stable condition' says his family. Correa suffered leg fractures and a small spinal injury when he hit the out of control Hubert on the second lap of the Formula 2 feature race at the Belgian GP. He was initially airlifted to the CHU Liege hospital where he underwent surgery, spending a few days in the Belgian hospital before being transferred to England. Upon his arrival in London he was diagnosed with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and placed in an induced coma in the Intensive Care Unit. He remains in a 'stable but critical' condition.
