McLaren's Norris set for back row Italian GP start
McLaren's Lando Norris will join Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly at the back of Sunday's Italian Grand Prix starting grid as a result of his last lap engine failure at Spa last weekend. Norris was heading towards a remarkable fifth-place finish in Spa when his power unit shut down at the very end of the race's penultimate lap. A subsequent diagnosis of the failure by engine supplier Renault revealed a terminal issue, meaning that Norris will use a new Spec-C unit in Sunday's race, the McLaren driver therefore enduring a grid penalty.
