Belgian Grand Prix – Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen has crashed out on Lap 1 of the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps. Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has crashed out on the opening lap of the Belgian Grand Prix, following a collision with Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen. Having qualified in P5, Verstappen lost position to Kimi Raikkonen as the lights went out but tried to sneak back up the inside of La Source. The pair made contact, with Raikkonen ending up being thrown sideways into the air before landing on all four wheels again. Verstappen kept going but had damage to the front left of his car.
