Hungaroring Speed Trap: who is the fastest of them all?
Balance overrules top speed when it comes to the Hungaroring and its notoriously twisty layout, but drivers aren't exactly cruising down the track's main straight. Sebastian Vettel clocked through the speed trap in Saturday's qualifying session at 315.6 km/h and he was predictably followed by three other Ferrari-powered cars driven by teammate Charles Leclerc and Alfa Romeo's Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen. Renault's Taffin sees 20 more years of combustion engines in F1 Vettel and Leclerc's top speed may come in handy this afternoon as one will note that the man who set the pace in qualifying, Max Verstappen, was among the "laggards" on the main straight, almost 10 km/h...
