Alfa Romeo's German GP appeal to be heard in September

Alfa Romeo's appeal against its double penalty sanction in last weekend's German Grand Prix will be heard at a hearing in Paris on September 24th. Both Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi, who finished seventh and eight on the track at Hockenheim, were handed a 30-second time penalty after the race, a decision that demoted both Alfa drivers out of the points. The German Grand Prix stewards had ruled that Alfa Romeo's drivers had gained an advantage at the start of the race thanks to a specific clutch torque setting applied to their car prior to their wet standing start.
