Hamilton tops FP1 as Verstappen spins twice and Bottas sits out!

Lewis Hamilton topped FP1 ahead of Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel as Valtteri Bottas sat the session out as he had his engine changed. The session started in the dry, with Hamilton setting the fastest time before the rain started to fall just before halfway through the session. During the first dry part of FP1, there were spins for both Lance Stroll and Max Verstappen, with Verstappen's at the final corner in a strange incident when he was on a fast lap. As the rain came down, the track was quiet for around ten minutes before it dried up again and drivers were able to go back out on slick tyres once again.
