Perez lined up for long term Racing Point contract
Hungarian Grand Prix – Racing Point's Sergio Perez says he and the team are currently finalising a new deal that should mean a long-term extension to his contract. The Mexican driver, who traditionally worked on a year-by-year basis with Force India before their sale to Racing Point last year, is currently in the last few months of his existing contract. However, it appears a long-term contract is on the cards for Perez as Racing Point's future has been secured under the new owners and the partnership is working well.
