Hamilton has ‘cancelled everything’ to recover for Hungarian Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton has said he has ‘cancelled everything’ duty wise before the Hungarian Grand Prix to recover from an illness he had at the German Grand Prix. Hamilton revealed before qualifying that he was ill and almost decided to not take part and offer his Mercedes seat to Esteban Ocon for the race. The Brit ended up qualifying on pole despite the illness but a poor performance in the race left him finishing outside the points but ended up finishing ninth after the Alfa Romeos were penalised. Hamilton went off at the penultimate corner and damaged his front wing.
