Wolff: Ferrari issues ‘a shame for the championship'

German Grand Prix – Toto Wolff claims it's 'a shame' that Ferrari's technical problems have dented their chances of mounting a wider championship challenge to Mercedes. Ferrari's hopes of being able to recover some lost ground in the championship were hampered by technical problems for both Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel during qualifying for the German Grand Prix. This resulted in Max Verstappen being the only driver who could stop Mercedes from taking their eighth pole position of the season.
