Robert Kubica: Williams compromised from start of practice

Robert Kubica says Williams’ programme with its new update package was compromised as soon as he left the garage during German Grand Prix practice. Williams has spent 2019 rooted to the back of the grid and is the only team yet to escape from Q1 or score a championship point. It introduced new aerodynamic parts at Hockenheim, with Kubica running them on Friday, ahead of George Russell also taking the new components on Saturday.
