Chase Carey on renewing Melbourne contract

Chase Carey has spoken about the news that Formula 1 will be travelling to Australia until at least 2025, stating the event has been a "resounding success". The race at Albert Park has been on the calendar since 1996 and has been the staple first race of the season since then, only missing out on being the first race in 2006 and 2010. This season the race was won by Valtteri Bottas after he overtook his teammate Lewis Hamilton. On Thursday, F1 confirmed the contract for the Australian Grand Prix had been extended.
