‘Vettel risks losing No1 to Leclerc'

Sebastian Vettel risks losing his protected status at Ferrari after yet another error cost him dearly at the British GP, so says former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher. Teaming up Vettel with Charles Leclerc this season, Ferrari made it clear from the get-go that Vettel is their number one man. That they said meant Leclerc, only in his second season in F1, was free to make mistakes while learning his craft. Instead, though, it has been Vettel who has made the mistakes. While Leclerc kept it clean during his battle against Max Verstappen at the British GP, Vettel made a mistake – not his first of this season – and ploughed into the back of the Red Bull.
