Vettel apologised to Verstappen for collision

British Grand Prix – Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel made a point of going straight to Max Verstappen after the race to apologise for their on track clash. The F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone proved to be a calamitous one for Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel. Having started from P6 after a lacklustre qualifying, his race looked to have been somewhat saved by a fortuitously timed Safety Car on Lap 20. This allowed Vettel to make a pitstop without losing much time compared to the likes of Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly. Re-emerging from the stop in P3, Vettel was hunted down by the chasing Verstappen after the race resumed and was passed into Stowe Corner around the outside....
