F1 still chasing dream race in Miami

Formula 1 bosses are still chasing a second race in the United States with plans for a Miami Grand Prix not scrapped just yet. Liberty Media has made clear a second race in the US is a priority for Formula 1 as the new owners look to expand the sport's appeal in one of the biggest markets yet to be fully tapped into by F1. While initial plans to create a street circuit in the Bayfront area was met with opposition from local residents, plans for an alternative venue to host the race are still in the works, with F1's global director of promoters and business relations, Chloe Targett-Adams indicating that there is still ongoing work to secure a race in the city.
