Alonso and McLaren to part ways

Reports are gathering steam claiming that Fernando Alonso and McLaren are at the end of their partnership, the Spaniard apparently not part of the team's future plans in Formula 1 or Indycar. This brings to an end a partnership that once promised much but in the end delivered very little and in fact, resulted in the great Spaniard losing interest in F1 and quitting the top flight, frustrated that his career went backwards from the moment he returned to the team he first drove for in 2007.
