Magnussen joins the Austria grid penalty list

Haas‘ Kevin Magnussen has become the fourth driver to be hit with a grid penalty ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix. Magnussen had to cut his FP3 session at the Red Bull Ring short when an oil leak in the transmission of his car was discovered by the garage. As a result, Haas have had to replace the gearbox inside the VF-19. The previous gearbox had not completed six races and so a five-place grid penalty will be enforced ahead of Sunday's race. Renault's Nico Hulkenberg will also drop five places after taking on a fifth new ICE element of the season. McLaren's Carlos Sainz has also taken on the upgraded Renault engine and will also be starting toward the back of the grid. Starting...
