Stewards reach verdict on Q1 Ricciardo-Raikkonen incident

The French Grand Prix stewards have reached a conclusion about the Q1 incident between Alfa Romeo Racing's Kimi Raikkonen and Renault's Daniel Ricciardo, with the stewards deciding to take no further action in penalising the former of the two drivers. After going very wide at turn 12 in Q1, Raikkonen rejoined the track but did so in such a way that he left Ricciardo second-guessing whether or not to take evasive action. It ended a flying lap for the Renault driver and caused the stewards to investigate the matter. It didn't matter much in the end, with both drivers making it to Q2 and Ricciardo also making it to Q3 as he qualified in eighth and Raikkonen in 12th. No further action on the...
