Romain Grosjean 'misses' old tarmac surface after 'worst Friday'

Haas' Romain Grosjean says the resurfaced Paul Ricard circuit is catching many drivers out and is the cause of several spins during Friday practice for the French Grand Prix. The Frenchman says he 'misses' the old tarmac surface which was much grippier, but is hopeful the new surface will evolve over the weekend. 'Yeah the new tarmac is not great,' he said on Friday afternoon. 'As soon as you’re on the old one it worked really well and the new one is very slippery and not very predictable so we’ve seen a lot of cars spinning.
