Officials dismiss Vettel's Canadian GP penalty review

Sebastian Vettel Officials have dismissed Ferrari's request to review the penalty handed to Sebastian Vettel during the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix. Vettel had five seconds added to his finishing time in Montreal after an off track excursion on Lap 48. Reviewed by officials, it was deemed that the Ferrari driver rejoined the circuit in an unsafe manner, a decision which ultimately saw Lewis Hamilton handed the race win. Following the race, Ferrari announced its intention to firstly appeal the decision before confirming it would request a review.
