Vettel's penalty review rejected by FIA

Ferrari's request of a right to review Sebastian Vettel's race-losing penalty from the Canadian GP has been rejected by the FIA. The decision, which came after Ferrari felt they presented 'new evidence' at a hearing in France on Friday, means Lewis Hamilton's victory stands with Vettel still taking a five-second penalty. Race stewards reconvened with Ferrari's Laurent Mekies but ruled that they were shown "no significant and relevant new elements which were unavailable to the parties at the time of the competition".
