Gasly: No massive gain expected from Honda updates

Red Bull can expect better performance from their Honda engines at this weekend's French Grand Prix but Pierre Gasly has played down hopes of a big step up in front of his home crowd. Honda are introducing a new specification engine, their second upgrade in eight races, at Le Castellet for Gasly and Dutch teammate Max Verstappen as well as Toro Rosso's Russian Daniil Kvyat. Kvyat will take a grid penalty for exceeding his season's engine allocation, with Thai teammate Alexander Albon staying with the old specification to avoid both Toro Rosso drivers taking a drop.
