Canada stewards to hold Vettel penalty hearing on Friday

The FIA has confirmed that a hearing regarding Sebastian Vettel's penalty at the Canadian Grand Prix will be held on Friday following Ferrari's request to review the incident. Vettel was hit with a five-second time penalty for rejoining the track in an unsafe manner while battling Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton for the lead in Canada two weeks ago, costing the Ferrari driver victory. After initially notifying the FIA of its intention to appeal the penalty, Ferrari withdrew it, but confirmed it would be using its right of review for the incident to get a second look.
