Steiner reports positive results from the Haas upgrades

Guenther Steiner says the Haas upgrades performed well since fitted in Spain but once again he blames the poor result on the tyres. Romain Grosjean finished in P14 last time out while Kevin Magnussen finished behind George Russell. Haas, like many other teams, has struggled to manage the tyres on longer runs. Seemingly, only Mercedes can find the optimum balance. The American team thought they had solved the issue, but Steiner is still blaming the rubbers. “The upgrades performed very well. Everything went to plan there. We don’t have an issue with the pace of the car, we just need to understand the tires better," Steiner said. "We’ll bring on more...
