Horner: Verstappen has 'overcome expectations' during 2019 F1 season

Max Verstappen is only 21, but the young Dutchman is fast approaching is 100th Formula 1 Grand Prix in his fifth season. His boss Christien Horner believes he's already "overachieved" and has significantly matured over the last 12 months. Last year in Monaco, Verstappen had a disaster. His crash in FP3 ruled him out of qualifying, and he had to watch his then-teammate, Daniel Ricciardo drive to victory. But two weeks later, he bounced back in the Canadian Grand Prix.
