Szafnauer confident of being competitive in Canada

Racing Point team principal Otmar Szafnauer is confident that the team will be competitive at the Canadian Grand Prix with the car more suited to the track than previous races. Racing Point haven’t been able to pick up any points in their last two races at Monaco and Spain with both drivers Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll finishing outside the top ten and the cars lacking performance. But Szafnaur believes that the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is more suited to the strengths of their cars and that points are up for grabs in front of an atmospheric crowd at Montreal for home driver Stroll. He said: “Canada is an important weekend for everybody in the team....
