Renault looking to improve their qualifying performances in 2020

Renault say that they will focus on producing a car better equipped for qualifying next season, as they look to improve on their struggles this season. The team only have 13 points so far this season, compared to 46 at the same stage last season, and have had problems with consistency over full weekends. "I think we are looking at two or three changes that are totally possible to do at this point of time [of the design process], and that can dramatically change the behaviour and the competitiveness of the car next year," Abiteboul was quoted saying by F1i.com.
