Indy 500: Pagenaud pips Rossi in a thriller

Simon Pagenaud won the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500, handing Team Penske their eighteenth victory at the Brickyard. After a late crash, the race was reduced to a dozen lap shootout at the end between Pagenaud, Alexander Rossi and Takumo Sato which the Frenchman won after a great move with a couple of laps to go in the final nail-biting laps. 2019 Indy 500 Race Timeline 3:10 p.m. Graham Rahal and Sebastien Bourdais brought out the red flag with 23 laps to go in the Indianapolis 500 when they touched wheels down the backstretch and triggered a heavy five-car wreck.
