Ferrari 'evaluating' bringing back Resta from Alfa Romeo

Ferrari is considering whether to bring back to Maranello current Alfa Romeo technical director Simone Resta to boost its technical staff. The Italian engineer joined Alfa last year from the Scuderia where he held the position of Head of Vehicle Project Coordination. In Monaco, Scuderia boss Mattia Binotto confirmed that Resta was under consideration for a return to Ferrari. "As a team, no doubt we are always trying to improve ourselves by looking where maybe we miss strengths," Binotto told Motorsport.com. "Simone has been in Ferrari in the past.
