World champions Mercedes have paid a fulsome tribute to "guiding light" Niki Lauda after their chairman and the F1 legend passed away aged 70. Lauda took on the role of Mercedes' non-executive chairman in 2012 at a time when the German manufacturer team were struggling to make an impact at the front of F1.
