Guenther Steiner: No doubt over Haas' pure pace after Spain display

Haas Team Principal Guenther Steiner says there is “no doubt” that the squad has a fundamentally fast car, following its performance at last weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix. Haas finished as Formula 1’s midfield leader in Australia and followed it up with a best-of-the-rest qualifying display in Bahrain, but slipped back in race trim. It also struggled for race pace in China and Azerbaijan, a problem it attributed to the manner in which the VF-19 was utilising its tyres.
