Bottas tests new Mercedes chassis, PU upgrades

Mercedes brought new chassis and power unit components to test in Spain, with the team hopeful they can be introduced over the next few races. Fresh from their fifth consecutive one-two finish of the season, the Silver Arrows were back on track with Valtteri Bottas on the first day of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya. And it was yet another P1 for Mercedes as Bottas got to within a tenth of his pole lap record and finished top of the timesheet. 'Today’s test day has been really good,' Bottas said.
