Giovinazzi: Just a bad day for us
Spanish Grand Prix – Alfa Romeo's Antonio Giovinazzi struggled to take many positives from his Spanish race, after coming home a distant P16. Neither Alfa driver had a good day on Sunday, with Kimi Raikkonen ruining his own race on the first lap by sliding off the track. Having taken a penalty pre-race for a gearbox change, Giovinazzi started the race from P18 on the Soft tyre. He ran these for just six laps before changing to the Hard tyres in what seemed an attempt to get to the chequered flag with a very long final stint. However, the Safety Car intervention hampered any possible advantage to this strategy and he withdrew to the pits again on Lap 45 to take on the Soft tyres...
