Ferrari differs from Mercedes - goes full 'red softs' for Barcelona

Scuderia Ferrari has elected to take an aggressive approach to its compound selection for the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona. The Italian outfit displayed strong pre-season form at the Circuit de Catalunya and it hopes it will pick up where it left off last winter with the help of 9 sets of Pirelli's soft C3 tyres for Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc. FIA initiates tenders for more standard parts in F1 from 2021 Ferrari won't be alone in stocking up on the red-rimmed rubber, with sister team Alfa Romeo and Renault also choosing 9 sets for each of their drivers.
