Ricciardo hit with three-place grid penalty for Spain

Daniel Ricciardo has been hit with a three-place grid penalty for the Spanish Grand Prix after reversing into Daniil Kvyat's car during Sunday's race in Azerbaijan. Ricciardo and Kvyat both took to the run-off area at Turn 4 after locking up while fighting for position, with Ricciardo attempting to try and back out onto the track by reversing. However, Ricciardo drove his Renault straight into the path of Kvyat's Toro Rosso, leaving both cars with damage that would ultimately force both drivers to retire from the race.
