Another MGU-K failure for Hulkenberg

Renault principal Cyril Abiteboul has confirmed that Nico Hulkenberg retired from the Chinese Grand Prix after an MGU-K failure. The team introduced a re-designed MGU-K for all their customers to use from the Chinese Grand Prix, looking to solve the issue that has solved all Renault-powered drivers this season. Carlos Sainz's McLaren suffered an MGU-K failure in Melbourne, while both works-team drivers Hulkeberg and Daniel Ricciardo retired from the Bahrain Grand Prix at similar times. Hulkenberg's race in China would last just 16 laps before he encountered another failure, with Abiteboul confirming that the familiar gremlin is back.
