Ferrari edge closer to penalties; Honda PU change

Ferrari have fitted new Control Electronics to both Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc's cars, ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix this weekend. Leclerc looked set to take victory in Bahrain before he suffered from an engine issue during the closing stages – going on to finish P3 after a Safety Car saved him from the rapidly advancing Max Verstappen. Ferrari later confirmed the issue to have been caused by a short circuit with an injection system control unit, something which the team claimed to have never encountered before.
