Ticktum: Big step up to a Formula 1 car

Dan Ticktum was at the wheel of Red Bull's RB15 for the final day of testing in Bahrain. Bahrain's Sakhir Circuit played host to a two day in-season test this week, with the teams obligated to use a young driver for one of those days. After Max Verstappen drove on Tuesday, Dan Ticktum jumped into Red Bull's RB15 for Wednesday's track time. The F3 Euroseries 2018 runner-up will race in Japan's Super Formula this year, but did get to join his F3 title rival Mick Schumacher on track, as the German drove the Alfa Romeo on Wednesday. Ticktum's first time in a contemporary F1 car went smoothly, with him clocking up 135 laps throughout the day. His best time was 1:30.856, set on the C4 tyres....
