Mercedes complete Formula E car shakedown in Italy

Mercedes's official Formula E entry completed their first on track mileage during a two day test at the Varano Circuit in Italy. Mercedes, along with their Formula 1 factory team, will also field an official Formula E team from the beginning of the upcoming Season 6 later this year. The Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E team is still being put together, but they have now fielded a car on track for the first time. A two day test at the Varano Circuit saw Stoffel Vandoorne, driving for Mercedes' placeholders HWA AG this year, as well as Venturi's Edoardo Mortara, carry out over 500 kilometres of testing.
