Vettel admits to huge error after losing out to Hamilton

Sebastian Vettel admitted to being at fault for a costly error that saw the Ferrari driver lose out against Lewis Hamilton wheel-to-wheel. Having retaken second from Hamilton after the first round of pitstops, the Mercedes driver had closed the five-second gap to the Ferrari after the second pit stop phase to put Vettel under extreme pressure. Battling for second, Vettel was forced to defend into turn four after the Briton had closed to within DRS range but spun by himself after Hamilton was able to overtake him around the outside.
