Hulkenberg and Giovinazzi called to the stewards after clash

Nico Hulkenberg and Antonio Giovinazzi have been called to the stewards after their crash with each other at the end of FP1 in Bahrain. Hulkenberg in his Renault let Kimi Raikkonen through when approaching turn five before returning back to the middle of the track for turns six and seven. This meant Raikkonen’s Alfa Romeo teammate Giovinazzi attempted to go around the outside of the Renault before being side by side going into turn seven. Hulkenberg turned in for the apex making contact with Giovinazzi, sending his car into the air. Both drivers managed to make it back to the pitlane with little damage. The meeting they have been summoned to was due to start at 16:15...
