Piquet leaves Jaguar, Lynn announced as replacement

The inaugural Formula E champion Nelson Piquet will leave Formula E after he and Jaguar mutually agreed a termination of his contract. Piquet, the winner of the 2014-2015 Formula E Championship, will leave the series to race in the Brazilian Stock Car Championship. After managing to score only one point all season, he and Jaguar have agreed a mutual termination of his contract, with Jaguar swiftly announcing Alex Lynn as his replacement. 'I have enjoyed working with Panasonic Jaguar Racing over the past season and a half but results in season 5 have not met the collective expectations of myself and the team,' said Piquet.
