Third DRS zone added for Bahrain GP

The FIA has confirmed that a third DRS zone has been added to the Bahrain International Circuit for this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix. Despite the addition of a third DRS zone to a number of circuits through the 2018 season, Bahrain retained just two zones - one on the main straight, and a second between Turns 10 and 11 - but will now expand to three zones for 2019 in a bid to try and increase overtaking opportunities. The additional zone will be on the straight between Turn 3 and Turn 4 at the start of the lap, with the detection point coming at the end of the main straight, 50 metres before Turn 1.
